51 Pre-Professional Psychology If you enjoy working with and helping people, you may be interested in the field of psychology. This program will help you to understand various aspects of human development, mental and behavioral features of human nature, and social dynamics based on internal and external features of individuals. Psychologists help individuals and families better manage everyday issues, change behaviors, and/or learn new life skills. The field of psychology is very diverse including areas of counseling psychology, general psychology, marriage and family psychology, developmental psychology, or industrial and organizational psychology. It is important that you contact the college or university to which you anticipate articulating credits to assure that core courses will articulate appropriately into your major. The objective of this program is to prepare you to transfer to another institution to obtain a Baccalaureate degree.
