Iowa Spring Wildflower Photo Workshop

Spring is coming and so are the Iowa wildflowers. Ken has been photographing Iowa wildflowers for over 25 years and this outdoor workshop will teach you the secrets of macro photography, how to compose better flower and landscape photos, and get the most from your camera. The workshop will run from 9AM to 2PM on April 22 and involve travel to the park where the flowers can be found. Each student will need to bring their camera, camera manual, a tripod if available and wear clothing to match the weather. 1 Session.

Instructor: Ken Fry. Ken has had a passion for photography since his early teen years & was a staff photographer in HS for the yearbook & school paper. He carried his camera every day & developed an eye for capturing candid shots. Freelancing for the local paper, he shot sports, weddings, couples, & events through college & beyond and has been photographing full-time since 1999. Whether he is photographing Iowa wildflowers, a mountain meadow, Tulip Festival, a ‘57 Chevy or an individual, he seeks to glorify God in every image. *Centrum Foto Studio, 215 Central Ave. NE, Orange City.
