Beecin Foundation Scholarship Awarded to NCC Student

The Beecin Foundation Scholarship was established to encourage individuals in the area to pursue health related careers. This $675 scholarship is awarded twice a year by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation and is funded by the Beecin Foundation.

The recipient, chosen because of her academic achievement and potential for success in a health related field, is Cristina Vasquez, Rock Valley. Cristina is in the Practical Nursing program.

Beecin is a non-profit foundation receiving donations to assist Sanford Sheldon Home Health and Hospice financially. In turn, the Beecin Hospice Foundation provides services to clients undergoing care with limited financial resources.
