Beginner Knitting Adventure Class offered in February

You will learn to cast-on, purl and bind-off while making a dishcloth. Pattern ideas and help sites will be shared. Anyone wanting to learn how to knit, ages 9 and up, are welcome to the class. You will need to bring to class: size 8 knitting needles and 1 ball of yarn that is appropriate for dishcloths. These supplies are available in local craft stores. This course will be on two Thursdays, February 15 and 22 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Northwest Iowa Community College, Building A, Room 122. Tuition: $45.
Instructor: Wendy Peelen. Wendy has been knitting since she was 9. She learned this craft in 4-H. Now at the age of 56, she has made hundreds of gifts and taught other 4-H members how to knit. It is her go-to stress release.
