Why do you want so much information when I take a class, particularly social security number and birth date?

It is important to you and us that we keep all your courses and accounting information together under one name, yours. In many cases, looking up a person by first and last name will return many people with the same name. People also use nicknames and change their name, address and phone numbers. If we duplicate your information or put your information under another person, or add another person’s information to your record, your transcripts and bills will be wrong.
