Does the art of cake decorating fascinate you? This hands-on class will cover the fundamentals so you will be able to decorate your own cake masterpieces! Information will also be shared with you on the types of frostings and cakes. You will learn writing techniques, how to make different types of flowers, piping borders, and how to properly frost a cake. At a minimum, students will need to take to class: a scissors and Wilton Decorating Tips #3, #12, #18, #47, #104 and #352. If you wish to try some of the more advanced techniques that will be demonstrated, bring to class the Wilton Decorating Piping Tip 22-piece Set. (All of the individual tips mentioned earlier are in this set.) Karla Ven Huizen, the instructor, has loved to bake and cook for many years and has been decorating cakes for the past 16 years. 3 Sessions.
