Beginners’ Guide to Mah Jongg

In this introduction to Mah Jongg, we will learn the basics of this fun and social game. We will discuss the rules, object of game, learn tiles/symbols, understanding of the Mah Jongg card, and will experience hands on practice. Mah Jongg is a complicated, layered game – our goal is to give you a beginning foundation. This is a basic class for students who have never played before or for students who haven’t played in many years. Your registration fee will include a standard-size National Mah Jongg League card. This class will be held at the Sheldon Public Library.
