This short-term, non-credit certificate program is intended to provide you with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to be successful in an entry-level childhood career, while also preparing you with the minimum training required of a first-year child care provider. You will have the opportunity to earn certification in Universal Precautions, CPR/First Aid, and Mandatory Reporter training. The majority of class will be held in the evening. Eighteen hours (approximately 6 days) of observation will be required in day hours. Additionally, this class will cover employment readiness skills, including how to complete a job application and mock interviews. Free tuition is possible – ask us how!
