This electrical safety seminar will increase the awareness of safety issues for individuals who work on, or near, energized electrical equipment. Discussions will include the different types of electrical hazards and the injuries that can result from those hazards, the importance of maintaining electrical equipment and cords, and the dangers associated with electrical shock and arc flash. Personal protective equipment (PPE) needs, as stated in the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace will be covered.
