The Firefighter 2 (FF2) course is being offered by NCC and the IFSTB. The 2019 FF2 will be utilized and provides basic fire training relating to the NFPA 1001 standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. It teaches the most current standards adopted by the IFSTB and prepares students to take the FF2 written and psychomotor exam. The student MUST be affiliated with an Iowa Fire Department prior to registering for this course and possess FF1 Certification.
