The Firefighter II Course is being offered at no cost through the Iowa Volunteer Firefighter Training Fund. The student must be a certified Firefighter I level prior to taking this course.. The topics to be covered include: Building Construction, Rescue & Extrication, Water Supply, Fire Hose & Streams, and Protecting Fire Scene Evidence. The Fire Service Training Bureau offers this course at no cost. The student must be affiliated with an Iowa Fire Department and be 18 years of age at the start of class. Class minimum is 12. The student MUST be affiliated with an Iowa Fire Department prior to registering for this course.
