This 18-hour course covers the theory, fundamentals, equipment and techniques of welding. You will learn about several major welding and cutting processes used in production and repair. There will be plenty of lab time to practice one or more of the welding processes most widely used in industry today including: oxyfuel gas cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding. Please bring safety glases, welding gloves, a welding helmet and pliers. Six sessions.
