Foundation Events
The NCC Foundation hosts a number of events each year. Some of these events serve as fundraisers to support scholarship opportunities for students at NCC. The funds raised through these events allow the Foundation to award Presidents, Foundation, and Thunder scholarship opportunities for numerous of students each year. You can make a difference in the lives of NCC students through attending or supporting these events.
Thunder soccer trivia & auction night
The NCC Foundation & Athletics Department are excited to host the 2nd Annual Thunder Soccer Trivia & Auction Night on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Breu Haus in Sheldon. Participants will experience a night of fun general trivia and a chance to bid on great auction items! All proceeds will benefit the Thunder Soccer Program.
Foundation Golf Classic
The NCC Foundation Golf Classic is held annually the first Monday in June. The Classic is the Foundation’s largest fundraising event with proceeds averaging over $30,000 per year. In 2026, The Classic was held at Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort with 144 golfers participating. Sports shooting fundraiser
The NCC Foundation hosted its 4th Annual “Shoot for Success” Sports Shooting Fundraiser on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Otter Creek Shooting Complex. This event raises vital funds for the Sports Shooting Program, supporting scholarships and general program needs. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and participants, nearly $7,000 was raised last year — bringing the total to more than $20,000 since the fundraiser’s inception in 2023. Because of your continued generosity, our student-athletes are able to aim high and find success both on and off the range!
