Introduction to Wine Making Course Offered on October 23

Would you like to make your own wine? Come to this class to learn the fundamental basics of making wine at home. This class will include a little history, the process and some do’s and don’ts. The equipment, chemicals and yeasts will also be explained as part of this class. Must be 21 years of age or older to register. This course will be on Tuesday, October 23 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Building H, Room 510. Tuition: $25. Winemaking started as a hobby about eight years ago for instructor Glenn Davey, co-owner of Grandma’s Fruit Juice Winery. The Winery has been licensed now for three years as a “Native” Winery.
