The Opportunity
The Human Resources Intern is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the HR team. This position carries out responsibilities in the follow functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits, employee relations, and employee law compliance. This position will be a summer internship, with the option of maintaining employment into the fall semester.

•        Assist in the day to day operations of the HR Department

•        Assist with the recruiting and onboarding process

•        Assist with the development and maintenance of HR processes, policies and systems

•        Distribute and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner

•        Perform other duties as assigned

•        Working towards or obtained bachelor’s degree in HR or psychology degree

•        Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving, and creative thinking skills

•        Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail

•        Proficient in Word and Excel

•        Self-motivated team player with excellent people skills
