Website Crossroads Pavilion Event Center - City of Sheldon

Job Summary:

Reports to Crossroads Pavilion Event Center Management and is responsible for setting up and breaking down all tables, chairs and portable risers used for events at the Crossroads Pavilion Event Center. Required to work all hours- days, nights, weekends & holidays. Continued hours of work will be varied*.

*Employees between the ages of 14 and 15, will follow the IOWA CHILD LABOR laws, (copy of regulations provided).

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, tear down, moving, and storing of event equipment such as tables, chairs and portable risers for events
Requires a flexible schedule
Ability to take direction and understand and execute instructions successfully
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management
Ability to take initiative and work effectively both individually and as part of a team
Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Report any safety or security issues
Keep the Management informed of incidents requiring action and/or repair
Language Skills:

·        Ability to speak and understand English

·        Ability to read and write

Ability to interpret and work from sketches and diagrams
·        Ability to deal effectively and courteously with venue patrons, clients and co-workers
