ELECTRICAL & CONTROLS STARTUP TECHNICIAN: Full-Time – Monday-Friday – On the Road position based out of our Quincy, IL location

Key Responsibilities: Turn key installations of Phibro TCP Systems pumping skids. Onsite start-up, commissioning and maintenance of Phibro TCP Systems. Remote troubleshooting of system performance and functionality. Assist installation electricians with job requirements and monitor their work to assure it is in accordance with established methods and procedures Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design specifications along with operational and safety standards compliance Ensure all field instruments are installed, configured and accurate to 100% functionality. (Pumps, Instruments, Valves, etc.) Construct Phibro TCP electrical panels to design specifications.

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills. Extremely high level of attention to detail and high standard of quality. High degree of time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at once. Highest ethical standards; ability to be fair and reasonable. Ability to comprehend equipment specifications, price lists, catalogs and common industry publications and reference material. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to coach and mentor others.

Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Accredited military or trade school diploma, certificate in industrial technology or a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in industrial control systems electrical/maintenance. Knowledge of NEC, UL- Codes, NFPA-70e & NFPA-79. Ability to bend, install conduits and pull wire per site specific requirements. Install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment. Understanding of computer and networking fundamentals. Termination and tagging of wires per design drawings and site-specific requirements. Install junction boxes, control panels and other field devices per design drawings and site-specific requirements. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. Demonstrate the ability or willingness to learn more complicated devices associated with a Phibro TCP Systems: PLC ladder logico HMI configuration Networking devices, CAT 6 cabling and network switches.
