Farmers Electric Cooperative in Greenfield, IA is looking for a new Apprentice Lineman to join our team. We are a small rural distribution cooperative with over 1,800 miles of line serving approximately 5,000 members in 6 southwest Iowa counties.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma and completion of a technical Line Worker program. Applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of electricity and electrical systems, a Class A CDL, ability to climb poles, and ability to operate various types of equipment. Pre-employment, post job offer drug test is required.

Must be available to work in all weather conditions.  Additional on-call work is required evenings, weekends and holidays when assisting in service restoration and emergencies as needed.
