Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a PROGRAM AIDE to work in their WIC Office in South Sioux City. 40 hours per week, M-F. Hourly wage plus benefits. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus. Program Aid participates in filling out the necessary forms for program assistance and translating when necessary. Non-Profit Agency

JOB SUMMARY: The Program Aide is responsible to help the participant in filling out necessary forms for program assistance. Assess household gross income and number in household. Explain the proper use of eWIC benefits and ID cards to participants and any other correspondence in professional manner.  Aid in translating when necessary for non-English speaking/reading participants, if bilingual. Refer clients as needed or requested. Quality control of daily office tasks and supply inventory. Submit reports and summaries by deadlines or as requested. Travel to assigned clinics as requested. Lifting up to and including 50 pounds. Routine cleaning of work site. Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. Basic skills in word processing, email and data entry.

WAGE & BENEFITS: The starting wage is $15.00 per hour plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance. Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, EAP, 401K Retirement.
