The Reformed Church in America Church Growth Fund (CGF) is a nonprofit corporation that makes affordable-rate loans to RCA churches and related agencies for the purchase, construction, and improvement of buildings and other properties used in their ministries. The CGF has been serving RCA congregations for more than 60 years and functions under the supervision of the RCA General Synod. Income generated by loan interested is used to help fund RCA grants and scholarships.

Summary of Position
The Loan and Savings Certificate Operations Administrator is responsible for the overall function of the loan and savings certificate programs for the Church Growth Fund. This includes performing all tasks necessary for the ongoing maintenance, record keeping, and information management of loans and savings certificates, including communications with borrowers and investors.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
1. Ongoing maintenance of internal and / or external operating systems including contact with the appropriate systems liaisons and general maintenance, upgrades, and backup of servicing software.
2. Perform all tasks necessary for the ongoing maintenance of funded loans, including (a) processing and distributing monthly loan bills, (b) processing new loans and payments as received, (c) with the RCA Finance office, balance the loan ledger system and reconciling it to the general ledger system, (d) producing periodic reports including fiscal year-end, year-end activity, internal use, and outside auditors.
3. Ensure all tasks necessary for the ongoing maintenance of savings certificates are completed, including (a) processing new savings certificates, (b) sending maturity notices to investors, (c) processing renewals and redemptions, (d) processing account ownership changes, (e) obtaining documentation upon death of owner and updating information in system, (f) with the RCA Finance office, balancing the savings certificate ledger system and reconciling it to the general ledger system, and (g) producing periodic reports including demand savings certificate monthly reports, fiscal year-end, year-end activity and 1099 INT (with submission to IRS), internal use, and outside auditors.
4. Resolving questions and issues with loan customers and savings certificate investors.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Ability to travel 5-10 days per year.
2. High school degree and technical studies with specialized training in banking operations.
3. Committed personal relationship with Christ and an active member and participant in a Christian community of faith.
4. Minimum three years of bank loan and deposit operations experience.
5. Proven track record of problem solving and providing high quality customer service.
6. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
7. Ability to evaluate and learn new operating software systems.

Ministry Type: RCA
Salary Range: 45,000 – 52,000
