Job Description/Role
Here at Rome Grinding Solutions, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and determined Engineer to join our team. Our Engineers  maintain the quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results.   In this role, you will identify opportunities for bid submissions, develop bid-winning strategies, conduct research, write and edit proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, and collaborate with other team members to ensure bid security.  Rome Grinding Solutions is looking for a diligent and hardworking employee with high levels of efficient and effective communication along with a keen eye for detail and problem solving.


Approve incoming/outgoing materials
Conduct visual and measurement tests using micrometers, calipers and other measurement instruments.
Rejecting and return unacceptable materials
Approve in-process production
Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed
Identifying opportunities for bid submissions and raising them with the bid management team.
Conducting research and brainstorming key points to include in the bid.


B.S. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred
2+ years in a leadership or managerial position preferred
Ability to work in a collaborative setting
High standard of excellence with product completion
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
Enthusiastic and reliable
Willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer and company satisfaction
Goal driven in a process focused environment
