Our CNC Programmer is responsible for generating all nest, bend, and machining programming for our manufacturing department.

Duties include:

  • Nest 2D parts using Pronest software.
  • Release new or modify existing press brake programs using Cincinnati Software.
  • Release new or modify existing CNC lathe and Mill programs using CAMworks and the appropriate post processor
  • Maintain/improve CAMworks parameters to ensure that the program creation is as automated as possible.
  • Coordinates with other staff to estimate labor times and operational sequences for new parts and weldments.
  • Reviews and creates all related routing notes and documentation for fixtures/fixture setups, forming dies and other items to bring clarity and consistency to the manufacturing process.
  • Reviews, maintains and creates CNC programs through processing of Engineering Change Notices(ECNs).
    Support manufacturing floor on issues with CNC programs.
  • Optimize machine uptime and part quality by staying aware of new tools/technology to improve our process.

Qualified candidates should have prior programming experience and knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes, be proficient in Microsoft Office and CNC programming software, have the ability to read blueprints, write simple instructions, short correspondences and memos, and be able to effectively present information in a one-on-one or small group situation. Being detail oriented will be critical for this position.
