We are seeking a Radiology Technologist responsible for assisting in patient care and performing patient tests, such as; audiograms, spirometry tests, drawing blood, processing labs, breath alcohol tests, urine drug screens, pre-employment physical assessments and respiratory fit tests. The Radiology Technologist will operate Radiologic equipment, room and assess patients, provide high-quality patient service through various communication channels, and document patient medical care in EMR.

Shifts: Three 12 Hour Shifts, Monday – Friday, 7AM – 7PM! NO NIGHTS and NO WEEKENDS!


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
  • American Radiologic Registered Technologist required or obtained within one year of employment.
  • Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
    BLS certification required; can be obtained upon hire.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnosing patient illnesses.
  • Operates Radiologic equipment and provides diagnostic support.
  • Prepares radiology room.
  • Document Radiologic information in the patient’s EMR.
  • Provides patient information to the Radiologist for interpretation of the images through an EMR system.
  • Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during examinations.
  • Maintains Radiologic supplies inventory by checking supplies, placing orders, and verifying delivery of needed radiology supplies.
  • Care for patients.
  • Rooms and assesses patients.
  • Calls patients for Telehealth visits and places verbal orders and/or referrals for providers/patients.
  • Assists in assessing supplies and equipment for the department under the direction of a licensed provider.
  • Takes and returns patient phone calls.
  • Administers patient tests as requested by the provider, including but not limited to: audiograms, spirometry tests, drawing blood, processing labs, breath alcohol tests, urine drug screens, pre-employment physical assessments, and respiratory fit tests.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent information to providers, team members, and or patient’s families according to HIPPA.
  • Sets up and assists providers with procedures.
    Schedules patient appointments.
  • Documents patient medical care records in the EMR.
    Communicates equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance.
  • Maintains mandatory education modules, unit competencies, ARRT or ASRT certification, and Radiology licensures.
  • Identifies issues for Quality Improvement.
    Assists nursing staff in monitoring disposable inventory and restocking patient rooms.
  • Assists with training new team members.
    Communicates with team members of ongoing changes, workflow, and job functions as needed.
  • Conducts medicine/narcotic counts with the nursing staff.
    Attends and participates in team meetings and other team-building activities.
  • Sends and receives patient medical records.
