Assisting optometrist with patient care, which includes conducting preliminary eye testing, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records. Key duties also include preparing exam rooms, managing appointments, educating patients on eye care, assist with selecting appropriate eyewear for patients, and performing minor repairs on eyewear. Assist with billing procedures, insurance claims, and other financial matters related to patient accounts.
