Johnson Awarded Ned DeBoer Memorial Scholarship

The Ned DeBoer Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Lane Johnson, Bloomfield, by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation. Johnson will be a student in the Powerline program this fall.

This $1,000 scholarship has been established by the family of Ned DeBoer in memory of him. Ned was an avid sports shooter and served as the Sibley-Ocheyedan Shooting Generals coach. Ned most loved shooting trap and participating in other shooting sports activities with his son.
