Kristin Kollbaum, Northwest Iowa Community College’s Director of Marketing & Communications, has been named as the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 5 Director for the organization. The District Director position is a voluntary two year term.
NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR has more than 1,700 members from nearly 650 colleges across the United States and Canada.
Kollbaum stated, “It is a privilege and honor to be representing District 5. I have been involved with NCMPR for almost 17 years and have loved every minute of it. I believe the professional development that has been offered to me through this great organization has helped shape me into the marketer and leader I am today. I have met some of the best people in the business through participation in NCMPR. Colleagues have helped me through both the great times and the times of growth that inevitably come with this profession. I only hope to continue to nurture the District 5 culture that has been built by all the great district leaders that have served before me.”
NCMPR District 5 is comprised of the states of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, the Canadian province of Manitoba, Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
