Molly Galm to Retire from NCC

Molly Galm, Director of Library Services will be retiring from Northwest Iowa Community College on December 31, 2017. Galm has been with NCC for over 20 years, since July 1, 1997.
Galm began her career at the Manning Community School District as the K-12 Media Specialist for 8 years and then she was the 9-12 Media Specialist for the Carroll Community School District for 6 years.
Galm was awarded the NCC Outstanding Employee of the Year in 2010.
Galm commented, “I love seeing people succeed, seeing how far they have come in their educational or work life and I love being a small part of their journey.”
Galm continued, “Interactions with people that we encounter in our daily lives are the most important things that we do. You never know how something you say or do will make a difference to someone else.”
Galm’s plans for retirement include, “Enjoying time with my family, reading, and scrapbooking.”
