NCC Students Awarded the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center Scholarship
The Sanford Sheldon Medical Center Scholarship was established to encourage individuals in the area to pursue health related careers. This scholarship is awarded twice a year by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation and is funded by the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center. This is a $1,250 scholarship. The recipients, chosen because of their academic achievement and potential for success in a health related field, are:
- Makenna Arends, Little Rock, Radiologic Technology student
- Innocent Ongaga, Sanborn, Practical Nursing student
