NCC Welcomes Hannah Anderson to the Women’s Thunder Soccer Team

Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) is proud to announce the signing of Hannah Anderson, a distinguished athlete from George, Iowa, as one of the first players for the newly established Women’s Thunder Soccer Team. Hannah, who plans to pursue a degree in nursing at NCC, has demonstrated exceptional athleticism across multiple sports throughout her high school career at George-Little-Rock High School, including basketball, cross country, volleyball, softball, and track.

Despite the absence of a competitive soccer program at her high school, Hannah’s passion for the game has shone through her participation in summer soccer leagues. “I’ve been an athlete all my life, and playing soccer during the summers has been a real joy. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue being part of a team at the college level, especially for NCC,” said Anderson.

Her parents, Bryan and Rachel Anderson, are equally enthusiastic about this new chapter in Hannah’s life. “We are excited for Hannah to compete for NCC. She has been a great athlete, and we are excited for her to make the transition to college athletics. We believe in NCC and think this is a great fit for her,” they shared, echoing the sentiment of anticipation for Hannah’s future endeavors.

Coach Thomas expressed his enthusiasm for Hannah’s upcoming contributions to the team, noting, “Hannah’s athleticism and versatility are outstanding. She has all the qualities we look for in a player, and I have no doubt she will be a valuable asset to the Thunder Soccer Team.”
