NCC Welcomes Soccer Standout Jenna Pringnitz to Team Thunder

Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) proudly announces the addition of Jenna Pringnitz to both its women’s soccer team and the Powerline program. Hailing from Garner, Iowa, Jenna brings a wealth of talent and enthusiasm to Team Thunder and the powerline field alike.

Jenna’s decision to join NCC was influenced by her family’s positive experiences with the institution. Her older brother’s recommendation and the Powerline program’s stellar reputation solidified her choice. “I chose NCC because my oldest brother had attended for powerline a few years back and really enjoyed his time here,” Jenna shared. “When I was looking for recommendations for where to go to powerline school, everyone told me NCC was the way to go!”

“One thing that stands out about NCC to me is the reputation the Powerline program has,” Jenna emphasized. “People have nothing but praise to give to this program. I have asked several individuals about where I should go for powerline school and each one of them recommended NCC because of their safety measures and the quality of the experience they had. People have nothing but praise to give to this program.”

Jenna’s passion for soccer dates back to her childhood, “I played club soccer from the age of 7 until I was 14 and then I began high school soccer the next year. During my years in club soccer I had experience playing all over the field; goal keeper, striker, defense, and midfield.”

Her versatility on the field, coupled with her dedication, earned her a scholarship to play soccer at NCC, easing the financial burden of her education. Jenna said, “I received a scholarship to play soccer and this will take a tremendous weight off my shoulders when it comes to financing school. I am getting the best of both worlds; I get to go to an amazing school and play soccer while receiving financial assistance as a result of my athletic ability.”

Excited to join Team Thunder, Jenna is eager to contribute her skills and camaraderie to the team. “I am very excited to join this team because everyone seems to already have their hearts in this team and the other girls seem to be a lot of fun!” she exclaimed.

Coach Thomas expressed his enthusiasm for Jenna’s addition to the program, “I am tremendously happy about the addition of Jenna to the program. She is a highly decorated and skilled player that will bring magic to the pitch. She was a player I knew that I had to do what I could to make sure she was in a Thunder uniform come August. She brings a great attitude and work ethic as well!”
