  • Do you offer scholarships?

    Absolutely! We offer athletic scholarships to talented players. Additionally, Northwest Iowa Community College has a variety of academic and need-based scholarships you might be eligible for. We encourage you to apply and explore these opportunities to support your educational and athletic journey.

  • How many are on a roster?

    Our team maintains a minimum roster of 16 players. This size ensures a close-knit team dynamic while providing ample opportunities for each player to contribute significantly on the field.

  • Is your campus safe?

    Safety is a top priority for us. Our campus is well-lit, compact, and designed for convenience and security. The short distances between buildings and dorms make for a comfortable and secure environment for our students. NCC was also named Safest Community College in Iowa by

  • Do you provide everything I would need to play?

    We’ve got you covered! We provide all the necessary gear except for cleats and shin guards. This includes uniforms, training equipment, and other essentials to ensure you’re well-equipped to play.

  • Will you help me transfer to a 4-year college or university?

    Definitely! I [Coach Thomas] have a strong track record of helping our athletes transfer to a range of institutions, from Division 1 to NAIA universities. Our goal is to support your academic and athletic aspirations, wherever they may take you.


  • What kind of athlete are you looking for?

    We value hardworking, coachable, and confident athletes. Your attitude, dedication, and willingness to learn are as important as your skills on the field.

  • My friend might be interested, too. Can they be recruited?

    Absolutely! Our on-campus cafeteria caters to various dietary needs, including vegetarian options. We ensure that all our students have access to nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary preferences.

  • Do I need a certain GPA?

    Yes, we require a minimum GPA of 2.0 to participate in our soccer program. This standard encourages our athletes to maintain a balance between their academic and athletic commitments.


  • I’ve only played soccer for a year, but I love it. Can I play for NCC?
