Due to the exciting, high demand of interest in our free welding course, we will be needing to offer multiple courses. Therefore, we are asking that all interested participants attend a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, March 19th at 5:00 at NCC in H510. Individuals will go through the qualification process at this meeting. Individuals will take an assessment in math and reading. This could take up to two hours. Thanks for all the interest. NCC is very excited to help train and promote the welding employment field!
> Math, vocabulary, language & learning support available.
> No high school diploma required.
> English Language Learners are encouraged to attend.
This 30 hour course covers the theory, fundamentals, equipment, and techniques of welding. You will learn about all major welding and cutting processes used in production and repair, in addition to information on reading welding symbols, inspecting and testing welds, and getting a job in the welding industry.
A Job Fair will be held at the completion of the course!
