40-Hour Welding Certificate
This 40 hour course covers the theory, fundamentals, equipment, and techniques of welding. You will learn about all major welding and cutting processes used in production and repair, in addition to information on reading welding symbols, inspecting and testing welds, and getting a job in the welding industry or advancing your career. This course will also include instruction in employability skills, such as writing resumes and interviewing in the industry.
52-Hour Machining Certificate
The 52 hour Machining Certificate will help prepare you for an entry-level position as a CNC machine operator or general machinist. During the program you will gain knowledge and hands-on skills in CNC programing, machine set-up and operation basics. Topics covered include: machining basics, coordinate systems, part identification, tool paths, coding/programming, and proper tool setup. This course will also include instruction in employability skills, such as writing resumes and interviewing in the industry.
All classes will be held at NCC in the evening.
