Can I register for a class that is full?
Some classes have maximum limits for attendees. For example, a computer course is limited in size by the number of computers available in that classroom. For more information click here to contact one of our Continuing Education Coordinators.
-
Why do you want so much information when I take a class, particularly social security number and birth date?
It is important to you and us that we keep all your courses and accounting information together under one name, yours. In many cases, looking up a person by first and last name will return many people with the same name. People also use nicknames and change their name, address and phone numbers. If we duplicate your information or put your information under another person, or add another person’s information to your record, your transcripts and bills will be wrong.
-
How do I pay for classes?
NCC’s Continuing Education Division accepts cash, checks, money orders, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover cards for payment of tuition and materials. Payment must be made at the time of registration.
-
When are classes canceled?
The Continuing Education Department makes every effort to maintain the schedule announced in our tabloid. If a class does not have sufficient enrollment to justify holding the class, we reserve the right to cancel, combine, or change the class schedule. If the class you registered for is cancelled you will be contacted and a 100% refund will be processed.
-
Do I get a refund if I am unable to attend the class I registered for?
You may cancel your registration by calling the Continuing Education Office at least one business day before the start of class to receive a 100% refund.
-
I don’t see the class I want on the schedule. What do I do?
If we have not scheduled the class you are looking for, give us a call at 712-324-5061 or contact us and let us know. If we have the resources and capability, we will do everything we can to put it together for you or your company.
